Wig Care Guide | Human Hair, HD Lace & Colored Wigs

Human Hair Wig Care Guide

Proper care helps your BONANZA human hair wig keep its softness, lace finish, and color for longer.

Washing

Use sulfate-free shampoo and lukewarm water. Wash gently from roots to ends without rubbing the lace aggressively. Rinse fully so product buildup does not stay on the lace or hair.

Conditioning

Apply conditioner mainly from mid-length to ends. Avoid heavy conditioner directly on the lace knots, because buildup can make the lace area look less natural.

HD Lace Care

HD lace is thinner and more delicate than standard lace. Do not pull hard when adjusting or removing the wig. Clean adhesive or makeup buildup slowly and gently.

Colored Wig Care

For 1B/27, 99J, blonde, highlight, piano color, or ombre wigs, use color-safe products. Avoid harsh shampoo and excessive heat, because colored hair can need more careful maintenance than natural black hair.

Texture Care

Straight hair can be smoothed with moderate heat and heat protectant. Body wave, water wave, deep wave, and curly textures should be detangled gently and refreshed with light moisture. Wavy and curly textures may look shorter because of shrinkage.

Drying and Storage

Air dry when possible. Store the wig on a wig stand to protect the lace, preserve the shape, and prevent tangling.
